Alice asked:

My background is academics and writing, and my passion is genealogy. How do I use research and writing skills to help other people discover their family history? Are there job sites for this field?

Is there a computer program that can make a reverse family tree / genealogy chart?

Mira asked:

I have found a lot of programs that help make the usual family tree chart, however I can’t seem to find any that will make a reverse genealogy chart. (Starting with the oldest couple in the family and then going forwards to include their children, and children’s children, etc.)
Does anyone know of a program that will do this?

Are you a Genealogy lover who lives in the UK?

lollipoppett2005 asked:

I am getting a project underway this year to make genealogy information free to anybody searching online. I need volunteers in ANY area of the UK who would be willing to help me in a project to catalogue old graveyards. This is purely a voluntary venture would you help me by sparing a few hours of your time when you can? I can be emailed via YA if you are interested. You don’t need any experience just the ability to use a pen or pencil. It does’nt matter if you can only spare an hour or two now and again. Every minute would be precious to me and I would be extremely grateful.

Thank you.
I checked, loads happening in the USA but little information like I plan to put together available on their site…. if being honest didn’t find any at least not in the part of the country I live. I am not bothered what is happening worldwide, I am keen to get the info online asap for here our little island.

Any one know of good genealogy sources for Cuban Americans?

Feelin Randi? asked:

It’s been very difficult finding ancestors for temple submission with the Church’s services (LDS, Mormon). I don’t know if this is due to the socialist nature of the Cuban government, or if there’s just been some error particularly in MY genealogy. Anybody after my grandfather seems to not be found by the LDS church.

Any and all resources will be appreciated dearly.

God Bless mine and everyone’s endeavor to save their departed family members!

Do they really have my family genealogy?
If so, how did they get it?
Aren’t we all protected by privacy act?
